Using new non-invasive imaging approaches, Dr. Guglielmetti is investigating the role of astrocytes – non-neuronal brain cells – in multiple sclerosis (MS) progression and therapies, with the hope of developing new precision diagnostic and therapeutic tools for MS and other neurological disorders.
