Human Herpesviruses (HHV) cause lifelong infections that can result in serious diseases such as shingles and cancer, as well as more recent connections to various neurological diseases. Whereas current treatments for HHV are commonly associated with adverse effects, Dr. Craik is developing a new platform technology to identify and engineer antibody-based HHV neutralizers and deliver them into target cells, creating a safe and effective treatment for HHV infections.
