Understanding Sleep Duration to Enhance Health

Dr. Shi is investigating the relationship between two UCSF-discovered genetic mutations from genes of familial natural short sleepers – individuals whose nightly sleep lasts just four to six hours yet leaves them full rested – which could provide insights into the connections between sleep duration and overall health.
