Decoding the Neural Basis of Gait in Parkinson’s Disease

Dr. Wang is using a novel deep brain stimulation device to improve our understanding of the dynamic activities that occur during walking and postural transition across different nodes of the neural network, in order to develop therapies that restore the dynamic neural control of walking in patients with Parkinson’s disease.
